โดย CMYK ย่อมาจาก
C --> Cyan ฟ้าอมเขียว
M --> Magenta แดงอมม่วง
Y --> Yellow เหลือง
K --> Key สีดำ (ที่ไม่ใช้ B --> Black เพราะจะสับสนกับ Blue)
ซึ่งเป็นชื่อสีที่นำมาผสมด้วยวิธีการพิมพ์ซ้อนทับกัน
